Alberto Arredondo (Valparaíso, Chile, 2000) is an emerging filmmaker and director. He began his academic journey studying Film at the University of Valparaíso (2021–2022), where he started developing his skills in the audiovisual field. In 2022, he co-directed "Firewall" alongside Lucas Viedma, marking his first venture into short filmmaking. His work moves between fiction and documentary, approaching both as complementary tools to tell stories. In 2025, he directed "Gabriela Misstrans: Delirio Disidente", a short documentary centered on the life of a young trans woman artist and performer. The short film was selected for the Festival Internacional de Cine de Viña del Mar in its 2025 edition.
