Tomás Travelho grew up in Mira, Coimbra, in the center of Portugal. He moved to Covilhã at the age of 18 to pursue a degree in Cinema at the University of Beira Interior. Currently, he is finishing his master's degree in Cinema at the same university. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a crew member on several university short films, serving mostly as a cinematographer for documentary shorts.
