Lima, Perú. Valeria Romero moves between directing and producing non-fiction projects, art direction, photography and working with archive. Chance, matter, time and questions are part of her work. Interested in intimacy, memory and the body. Graduated from Universidad de Lima with complementary studies in Mexico City (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México y el Centro Iberoamericano de Foto, Cine y Animación). Her project Lo que no habíamos dicho (2023) won Best Documentary Short Film at FENACI. She is currently developing Anoche soñé que murmurabas, her next shortfilm.
