Joshua de Vera is an independent filmmaker from Bulacan, Philippines who explores themes of queer yearning and third spaces in his shorts, 'please, remember this night' and 'At Least We Had This Moment' which premiered at Queer East Festival in London. He's also a finalist at the Sine Kabataan Film Festival by the FDCP with his surrealist coming-of-age short, 'Elephant Paths.’ He further honed his storytelling as a fellow of Climate Story Lab by Active Vista and the British Council.
