Jacob Vargas Gonzalez is a filmmaker from Veracruz Mexico, a diplomate of the Escuela Veracruzana de Cine Luis Buñuel and a student of the renowned filmmaker Ricardo Benet. He has three short films to his credit including "Ojos al Sol y a la Sombra" (2021) and "Ópera: de un corazón roto en mil pedazos" (2023) which is currently in distribution. He is nominated for best script at the Miel Film Festival in 2022.
