Akiharu Ishii (石井 明治, Ishī Akiharu, born August 9) is a Japanese freelance animator and character designer from Tokushima Prefecture. He began working as an animator at Kaname Production. After leaving Kaname, he worked as a freelancer for a while before joining Production I.G. Although he works as a freelancer as of 2015, he still often participates in I.G.'s productions.
