Born in Stuttgart in 1958. After training and working as a banker, he studied at the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences for Printing and obtained a degree in media technology in 1988. He subsequently held various positions as a production assistant, unit manager, and production and line manager for numerous documentaries, TV, and feature films. From 1993 to 1998, he worked as a film manager at Claussen+Wöbke Filmproduktion, overseeing numerous other documentaries, TV, and feature films for other production companies, as well as serving as completion bond controller on "Never Ending Story III." From 1994 to 1999, he worked as a film manager at Kinowelt Filmproduktion. Since 1998, the complete evaluation controlling and reporting of all films produced by CP Filmproduktion, as well as Kinowelt Filmproduktion and MTM, has been carried out. Since 2004 he has been Commercial Director and partner at Claussen+Putz, as well as Commercial Director at Starhaus Filmproduktion.
