Maria is a transgender woman with a physical disability who lives in a modest home in the heart of the Cerrado. She devotes herself fully to raising her nephew Zezinho, who was abandoned by his parents at birth. Through a unique and magical ritual, Maria transforms Zezinho into a king of unparalleled beauty. During this special moment, she shares her values with him as she sews garments that express the divinity inherent in every human being—regardless of sexuality, race, or faith. Each year, this ritual strengthens the child's self-confidence. Bound by unshakable love, they challenge prejudice and transcend physical and spiritual boundaries. Yet, young Zezinho finds himself immersed in a deep, silent question: does his faith influence his sexuality?
