Ánxela, a 26-year-old Galician woman, has been planning her wedding for almost a year with Saúl, who runs an ice cream shop in the city of Santiago de Compostela. Her dream is to marry her fiancé and become a fashion designer. Uneducated, but trained in the humble sewing workshop of her mother and aunt, Anxela's life changes forever when a famous Mexican designer calls her to work in her haute couture workshop in Madrid.
